PCAR FOUNDATION CONTRIBUTES $98,300 TO LOCAL CHARITIES in 2022 AND $745,386.79 since 2011!
"These funds represent a commitment to our region on behalf of the industry to continue to build strong communities,” said Ashley Haney, 2021 PCAR foundation president. “The PCAR Foundation recognizes the importance of supporting the various charities throughout Placer County that help those most in need, we challenge all of our members to contribute to their favorite organizations and are thankful to be in a position to help make a positive impact for these groups."
The PCAR Foundation actively raises resources throughout the year, hosting community events and fundraisers sponsored by regional REALTORS and industry affiliates.
“The foundation was created in 2011 to provide charitable support to local charities that offer food, clothing, shelter and mental health services to those in need in our community,” mentioned Dean Anderson, PCAR CEO. “In addition to contributing to these local groups, each year the foundation also awards local students with scholarships based on their academic record, commitment to the community and extracurricular activities.”
PCAR has a long history of supporting local charities in the community such as the Auburn and Roseville Salvation Army’s, Salt Mine and Peace for Families etc. The PCAR Foundation, Inc. is a formal 501c3 charitable version of what we have always done with the added benefit of educational scholarships and tax write-off for contributors.
