The PCAR Foundation was born to allow us to give back to the community we care about.

2019: The PCAR Foundation was proud to present a total of 6 $1,000 educational scholarships this year to Katie Fucciolo & Sierra Hagen, Colfax High School, Katie Huston & Mason Summer, Placer High School, Ashton Davis, UCLA and Madeleine Mehren, Whitney High School. The check presentations were made at the PCAR Auburn and Lincoln Marketing Meetings.

PCAR President, Dayna Summers, presented and congratulated 4 of the students at the Lincoln Joint Meeting on June 12, 2019. The students were given their own moment at the microphone in front of a group of PCAR members. 32 applications were submitted to the PCAR Foundation Board of Directors. A total of 6 recipients received scholarships. It is truly heartwarming to see our Association making a difference in these young students lives and helping to prepare them for their future.

Again, congratulations to Katie Fucciolo, Sierra Hagen, Katie Huston, Mason Summer, Ashton Davis and Madeleine Mehren. The PCAR Foundation and the Placer County Association of REALTORS wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors.

PCAR FOUNDATION CONTRIBUTES $87,600 TO LOCAL CHARITIES in 2018!

"These funds represent a commitment to our region on behalf of the industry to continue to build strong communities,” said Kevin McDonald, 2019 PCAR foundation president. “The PCAR Foundation recognizes the importance of supporting the various charities throughout Placer County that help those most in need, we challenge all of our members to contribute to their favorite organizations and are thankful to be in a position to help make a positive impact for these groups."

The PCAR Foundation actively raises resources throughout the year, hosting community events and fundraisers sponsored by regional REALTORS and industry affiliates.

“The foundation was created in 2011 to provide charitable support to local charities that offer food, clothing, shelter and mental health services to those in need in our community,” mentioned Dean Anderson, PCAR CEO. “In addition to contributing to these local groups, each year the foundation also awards local students with scholarships based on their academic record, commitment to the community and extracurricular activities.”

PCAR has a long history of supporting local charities in the community such as the Auburn and Roseville Salvation Army’s, Salt Mine and Peace for Families etc. The PCAR Foundation, Inc. is a formal 501c3 charitable version of what we have always done with the added benefit of educational scholarships and tax write-off for contributors.
